About this light

Recessed plaster (gypsum) spotlight from the Samba range, round, 12 cm in diameter. Once plastered over, it blends into the ceiling: only a round opening remains, from which the light emerges. Gypsum can be painted, so you can match it to the colour of your ceiling. GU10 lampholder.

Description

White gypsum to blend into the ceiling

The photo shows a white plaster body with two perforated metal wings: they act as a key for the finishing plaster. The smooth inner cone hides the bulb. The retailer states that the gypsum is paintable.

GU10 and dimmer

GU10 lampholder up to 50 W; the bulb is not included. The data sheet indicates variable intensity: pair a dimmable GU10 bulb with a compatible dimmer. IP20 rating, for dry rooms.

A plasterer's installation

This type of spotlight is set into the plasterboard and then skimmed over with filler before painting: it is work to plan during the building phase, not for a quick renovation. Allow 18 cm of height above the ceiling. It weighs 0.34 kg and is Class II.
