Flynn spotlight ceiling light, grey aluminium cylinder, GU10, 11 cm

A compact grey cylinder

The tube, in aluminium and metal alloy, is a deep grey with a matt look. The lower edge curves inwards to form a cup around the bulb, with no added ring. Its volume stays modest and it blends in on a light ceiling as well as a dark one.

GU10 bulb of your choice

The GU10 lampholder takes a bulb, to be bought separately, of up to 50 W. The spotlight accepts a dimmer provided you choose a compatible GU10 bulb. A GU10 LED limits the heat inside this small aluminium body. Choose a warm white for a living room, a neutral white for a kitchen or an office. With an IP20 rating, the spotlight is for dry rooms only; in a bathroom, keep it away from the shower and the bath.

Surface mounting

The Flynn is fixed to the surface, according to the British retailer, and hangs 11 cm below the ceiling. With no cut-out needed, it suits concrete ceilings or those without a ceiling void. In a row along a hallway, space them evenly along the centre line; on its own, it marks an entrance or lights a piece of furniture below.
