Description

Short tube and recessed bulb

Seen from the side, the Noma is a clean cylinder 10.3 cm in diameter, with no visible screws. At the base, a metal ring frames the bulb, which sits deep inside the tube: the light source is barely visible when you walk beneath it. The body and the interior are in two distinct colours, for a bold contrast.

Which GU10 bulb to choose

The bulb is not included. The technical sheet states 50 W for this GU10 cap; a GU10 LED gives comparable light with far lower consumption and much less heat. For an entrance hall or a kitchen, a neutral white LED is suitable; for a living room, choose a warm white. The IP20 rating restricts this spotlight to dry rooms and, in a bathroom, to locations well away from any water splashes.

Surface mounting

The spotlight is fitted directly onto the ceiling, with no cut-out, and drops 12 cm. Several cylinders lined up above a worktop at regular intervals provide good task lighting; above a console table, a single one is enough.
