Casemiro square surface-mounted ceiling spotlight, white and black, 1 light GU10

A white cube with a black frame

The aluminium and steel housing, finished in white lacquer, has sharp edges and a flat underside. In the centre, a recessed black square holds the round ring, also black, which secures the bulb. The white and black contrast clearly defines the light source on a pale ceiling. Between the housing and the ceiling, a slightly smaller black plate creates a shadow line.

A GU10 bulb of your choice

The spotlight takes a GU10 bulb of up to 50 W, on a 230 V mains supply. It is not supplied: for a soft light in a living room or bedroom, choose a 2700 K GU10 LED; in a kitchen, a 3000 K or 4000 K bulb renders colours better. The light fitting is compatible with a dimmer, with a dimmable GU10 bulb. IP20 rating: for dry rooms only.

Surface mounting, no false ceiling needed

At 8.6 cm thick, it screws directly onto the ceiling, so there is no need to cut into a false ceiling as with a recessed spotlight. Allow for a cable outlet at the fitting point. To light a hallway, allow roughly one spotlight every 1.20 to 1.50 m.
