About this light

The large-format Lunaro, this 12 W white and black LED ceiling spotlight features the same two white cylinders separated by a black ring, on a different scale: 18 cm high and 6.1 cm in diameter. Its 1086 lm of warm white light can illuminate an entire area, a worktop or a desk, and not just a single object.

Description

White body, black junction and ring

The light fitting consists of a first cylinder fixed to the ceiling and a second, offset one that houses the LED. A black piece marks the join, and the black interior of the opening absorbs stray reflections. The body is made of aluminium, with an acrylic part according to the technical data sheet.

A 12 W LED with a wide beam

The integrated 12 W source delivers 1086 lm at 3000 K, more than double the output of the small Argon tubes, enough to serve as the main lighting in a hallway or cloakroom. Its intensity remains constant. Being IP20, the spotlight is for dry indoor use only; a bathroom is still possible if it is not exposed to shower jets.

Height and positioning

It drops 18 cm below the ceiling and is surface-mounted. Above a desk, centre it over the surface; in a kitchen, allow roughly one spotlight for every 80 cm to 1 m of worktop.
