Sandy white ringed in sandy black
The Federica is made of aluminium. Its cylindrical head rises from a rectangular base with softened corners, both finished in sandy white, a fine-grain paint; a sandy black ring marks the join between the two. The lampholder is recessed at the bottom of the tube, which hides the bulb when you look at the spotlight from the side.
25 W GU10 cap, bulb to be bought separately
The spotlight is designed for a 25 W GU10 bulb, to be purchased separately. A GU10 LED uses far less energy for comparable light; choose 2700 K or 3000 K for a living room, 4000 K for a workshop or garage. The supplier states that the intensity is adjustable: with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer, you can lower the light in the evening. The IP20 rating restricts this spotlight to indoor use, in a room without humidity.
Compact size, ceiling mounting
The light fitting measures 13 cm long and 7 cm wide. This compact size means you can line up several on the ceiling of a hallway or kitchen, spaced about 1 m apart, for even lighting. On its own, it is enough to light a niche, a painting or a short worktop.
