About this light

This white 1-light GU10 spotlight combines a round base and a cylindrical head in sanded white metal, joined by a black connecting piece that adds contrast. Compact, at 14 cm long and 12 cm high, it lights one precise spot: a shelf, a worktop, a corner of the hallway. The GU10 bulb must be purchased separately.

Description

A sanded white cylinder on a round base

The circular base is surface-mounted and carries the head via a black connecting piece. The metal body has a slightly grainy sanded white finish that avoids shiny reflections. The GU10 lampholder sits recessed at the bottom of the cylinder, so the bulb is barely visible from the side.

A focused beam for a precise spot

The GU10 lampholder accepts a 35 W bulb. No bulb is supplied: a GU10 LED uses far less energy for a comparable output, and a 3000 K colour temperature keeps a soft white in a living space. With its IP20 rating, this spotlight is suitable for dry rooms only; in a bathroom, position it away from the shower and bath, for example above the mirror.

A compact size, easy to place

With a footprint of 14 cm by 10 cm, it fits on a low ceiling, above a desk or at the head of a bed. For supplementary lighting, allow one spotlight per area to be lit rather than a single central point. It runs on 230 V, with no transformer required.
