About this light

This bathroom spotlight ceiling light brings together three frosted glass tubes, each angled on a chrome arm, around a 24 cm round base. The light filters through the frosted glass, with a band of clear glass at the end of each tube. It drops only 14 cm, so it suits a low-ceilinged shower room.

Description

Three frosted tubes in a fan shape

A round chrome backplate serves as the base. Three short arms, also chrome, extend at an angle, each holding a frosted glass cylinder finished with a band of clear glass. The tubes point in three different directions: the light spreads across the room instead of falling in a single circle.

G9 caps and IP44 rating

Three G9 caps take 3 W lamps; the British retailer states that the ceiling light is supplied with its LED lamps. Protected by its IP44 rating, it withstands water splashes: fit it to the bathroom ceiling, but not directly above the shower or the bath. The frosted glass softens the point of light from the small G9 lamps.

24 cm diameter for a small shower room

At 24 cm in diameter and 14 cm in height, it stays discreet in a small shower room, a WC or a narrow hallway. For a larger bathroom, two units placed in line cover the space better than one. Plan the cable outlet at the centre of the area to be lit.
