About this light

This LED outdoor wall spotlight is a simple metal cylinder fixed to a round backplate, casting its light towards the ground. At 14 cm high, it lights a doorstep, a step or the threshold of a terrace. The 3 W LED is integrated and gives a warm white light of 3000 K; its 270 lm suit marker lighting rather than lighting a large courtyard.

Description

A metal cylinder on a round backplate

The light consists of a circular backplate screwed to the wall and a brushed-metal-look cylinder pointing downwards. The body is cast aluminium, and a clear glass lens closes the underside of the tube. A fine line marks the join between the top and bottom of the cylinder.

Integrated warm white LED

The 3 W LED source is integrated and supplied: no bulb required. It produces 270 lm in 3000 K, a soft shade for night-time lighting. The IP44 rating protects against rain: the spotlight can be fitted on a facade, beside a door or under a canopy. It is not designed to be hosed down or recessed into the ground.

Facade installation, beside the door

The spotlight is 14 cm high and the stated length is 6 cm. Fit it at about 1.80 to 2 m above the ground to draw a cone of light on the wall and the threshold. Arranged in a row along a path against the house, several units create a regular rhythm. Allow for a cable and a connection suitable for outdoor use.
