About this light

A 3-light GU10 ceiling light for the bathroom, the Aries groups three metal spotlights under a round 18 cm backplate. The cylindrical bodies combine satin silver and shiny chrome, with a small stem on each head so you can aim it without burning your fingers. Description

Three two-tone metal spotlights

A chrome backplate carries a central stem from which three ball joints extend. Each spotlight pairs a chrome ring with a satin silver body, open at the front onto the bulb's reflector. A thin stem protrudes from each head: according to the retailer, it is used to aim the spot towards the mirror, the worktop or a wall.

GU10 caps and dimmable light

The three lampholders take GU10 bulbs of up to 50 W each; the supplier's page states that LED bulbs are supplied. The dimmable feature is a plus: connected to a dimmer, it moves from bright light to subdued lighting. Rated IP44, it tolerates the steam and splashes from a washbasin, but not the direct zone of the shower or bath.

A compact size

With a diameter of 18 cm and a height of 13 cm, it is easy to fit in a hallway or a small bathroom. To light a mirror, place it on the ceiling just in front of it, about sixty centimetres from the wall.
