About this light

The Crest white wall spotlight has a slightly tapered, tubular lampshade, held away from the wall by a slim arm. A switch is built into the backplate and a 200 cm cable runs down from it. It makes a good reading light above an armchair or a bedside table, with a GU10 bulb of 7 W maximum, sold separately.

Description

Slim cone in sandy white metal

The British retailer describes it as "Sandy White", a white with a sandy texture that you can make out in the photo. The round backplate carries a horizontal arm, then an elongated cone whose opening reveals the reflector. At 17 cm high, it keeps a slim silhouette.

GU10 beam and dimming

The GU10 cap suits directional LED bulbs: the cone directs the light forwards and downwards, onto a book or a desk. Each bulb can be up to 7 W and is not included. Dimming is possible with a dimmable GU10 bulb. With an IP20 rating, it should stay in dry rooms.

Wall mounting and height

The small switch on the backplate saves you from reaching for the wall switch. Being Class II, no earth wire is needed, and it weighs 0.45 kg. Next to a bed, fix it so that the cone sits slightly above the headboard; in a living room, mounting between 1.60 and 1.80 m from the floor is suitable.
