Rudy black square-head spotlight on backplate, GU10 cap, 1 light

Black to emphasise geometry

Everything is made of aluminium and black metal: the rectangular backplate set vertically, like the head, a square prism with cut corners. Only the bulb's reflector, at the back of the head, stands out in a lighter tone.

GU10 beam and warm white

The spotlight is fitted with a GU10 bulb, supplied in 3000 K for a warm white light, with a stated power of 35 W. It is designed to work with a dimmer. The IP20 rating limits it to dry interiors, and its Class II construction means no earth connection is needed.

Size and placement

At 7 cm wide, 13 cm high and 11 cm deep, it weighs 0.27 kg. Beside a bedhead, place it slightly above shoulder height so you can read without disturbing the other side of the bed.
