About this light

This black GU10 spotlight combines a rectangular base with a short, wide cylindrical head, made entirely of steel and aluminium. It takes a GU10 cap bulb, which you choose in the shade you want, leaving you in control of the colour of the light. At 10.5 cm high, it suits a hallway, a corridor or a bedroom.

Description

Black steel and a stocky head

The Karlota's head is a cylinder that is wider than it is deep, joined to the base by a short black stem. Base and head are made of steel and aluminium in a plain black finish. The bulb sits recessed at the back of the cylinder, which largely hides it when you look at the spotlight from the side.

GU10 bulb not included

The spotlight is supplied without a bulb. The stated power is 35 W per bulb, GU10 cap. A GU10 LED uses far less energy for comparable lighting; if dimmable, it lets you vary the light. Choose a 2700 K bulb for a living room or bedroom, a 4000 K for a kitchen or office. IP20: for dry rooms only.

Size and installation

The base measures 11 cm by 7 cm, and the spotlight drops 10.5 cm below the ceiling. Allow for a connection to a ceiling box, at the exact spot you want to light. To highlight a painting, position it about one metre from the wall, facing the frame.
