Merusa black surface-mounted spotlight with square head, GU10, 1 light

A black cube head on a rectangular plate

Merusa draws on a geometric vocabulary: an elongated plate, a short stem and an almost square head whose sides curve towards the front. The steel and aluminium have a uniform black finish, from the plate to the rim around the bulb, which sits recessed in the head.

GU10 bulb of your choice

The lampholder takes a GU10 bulb of up to 35 W; it is not supplied with the spotlight. A GU10 LED of around 5 W, in 2700 K for a living room or 4000 K for an office, gives a crisp beam while using little energy; the spotlight works with a dimmer if the bulb is itself dimmable. The IP20 rating makes this spotlight suitable for dry rooms only: living room, bedroom, hallway, kitchen away from the sink.

Compact size

11 cm long, 7 cm wide and 10 cm high: the spotlight fits on a beam, above a door or in a corner. In a larger room, plan several units in a row for even accent lighting.
