Laconi black cylinder spotlight, 1-light GU10 on rectangular plate

An elongated black tube and a flat plate

The spotlight is a long cylinder, split in two by a fine groove that separates the body from the front section. It is connected by a short rod to a rectangular plate measuring 11.5 cm by 6.5 cm. Black covers every part, including the ring around the opening.

GU10 lampholder for a bulb of up to 35 W

The spotlight works with a single GU10 bulb, not included. It accepts up to 35 W; with LED, a 5 W bulb already gives a crisp beam, and a dimmable version lets you lower the light, as the spotlight is suitable for dimming. Its IP20 rating is suited to dry rooms. In a bathroom, keep it for a ceiling away from the shower, never above the bath.

Above a reading armchair

The length of the tube helps to direct the light downwards. For a reading corner, fix the spotlight to the ceiling slightly behind the armchair, so that the light falls over your shoulder onto the book.
