Senova sand-textured black aluminium spotlight with round base, 1 GU10

Tubular head and disc in black aluminium

The Senova is made up of two simple shapes: a flat disc that screws to the support and a tube-shaped head, set against the edge of the disc. The whole is made of aluminium treated in sand black, a matt finish with a grainy feel that shows fingerprints less than a glossy lacquer. The bulb sits recessed at the end of the tube, which limits side glare.

A GU10 bulb for directed light

The GU10 cap takes a bulb of up to 35 W, to be purchased separately. A GU10 LED at 2700 K gives a golden light for a living room; a 4000 K bulb is better suited to a worktop. The spotlight can be dimmed with a dimmer if the bulb states it is dimmable. Rated IP20, this spotlight is for dry rooms only: living room, bedroom, hallway, study.

Dimensions and installation

The spotlight measures 12.2 cm long, 9 cm wide and 10 cm high, a size that fits beneath a low ceiling. To light a painting, place it on the ceiling slightly in front of the wall, so that the light falls on the frame without dazzling the person looking at it.
