About this light

Calasa matt white and chrome GU10 spotlight. Its rounded white steel head ends in a chrome ring around the bulb; a chrome stem suspends it from a 12 cm white base plate. The chrome stands out clearly against the white, without weighing down a light ceiling. For a kitchen, a dining room or a hallway.

Description

An egg-shaped head, white with a chrome ring

In white, the Calasa has a different effect: the matt white of the steel blends into the ceiling, and the chrome ring becomes the main visible detail. A short stem, also chrome, connects the head to a rectangular base plate with rounded ends.

GU10 bulb and indoor use

A GU10 bulb of 35 W maximum clicks into the cap; the spotlight is supplied without it. For a kitchen, choose a neutral white GU10 LED, which is more precise on a worktop. The spotlight accepts a dimmer if the bulb is dimmable. The IP20 rating rules out bathrooms and outdoor use.

Base plate dimensions

The base plate measures 12 cm by 10 cm. Above a worktop, position the spotlight slightly in front of the wall units so that the light falls in front of you and not behind you.
