Metal mesh and sand-textured finish
The lampshade is a rounded shell of fine mesh, mounted on a black tube that houses the lampholder. A short arm connects it to a round wall-mounted base. The whole structure is made of mild steel with a black, sand-textured finish, matt and slightly grainy. When lit, the mesh hints at the bulb and casts a pattern of shadows around the spotlight.
E14 cap, not dimmable
The Meshy works with an E14 bulb of up to 40 W, not included. Its technical specification makes no provision for dimming: connect it to a standard switch. As the bulb is visible through the mesh, a round or flame-shaped filament LED gives the best effect. Class I: the fitting must be connected to earth. IP20, for dry rooms.
Dimensions and placement
At 13 cm high, 9 cm wide, 12.5 cm long and 0.19 kg, the spotlight can be fixed without reinforcement, even on a lightweight partition wall with suitable wall plugs. Turned towards the wall, it creates ambient lighting; directed downwards, it lights a console table or worktop. Allow for mounting at around 1.70 m in a hallway.
