Wooden sleeve and black base
The Spinny comes down to three elements: a matt black steel disc against the wall, a short arm, and a light wood cylinder that covers the lampholder. The bulb remains fully visible and becomes part of the decor: an amber filament globe bulb, as in the photo, heightens the contrast between the wood and the black.
E27, switch and dimming
The E27 lampholder accepts up to 60 W; the bulb must be purchased separately. The small rocker switch on the base controls the spotlight without going through the wall switch. The light is listed as dimmer compatible: in that case, choose a dimmable bulb. For a bare light source, a 2700 K filament LED avoids glare. Earthed (Class I) and IP20: dry rooms only.
On the wall or ceiling
The spotlight measures 15 cm high by 12 cm wide and projects 15 cm; it weighs 0.35 kg. It can be fixed to a wall or a ceiling. As a bedside reading light, keep the base within reach so you can get to the switch, at about 1.10 m from the floor. The two-light version on a rectangular plate uses the same wooden lampholders.
