About this light

The double version of the Karlota, this black double GU10 spotlight sets two short cylindrical heads beneath a 28 cm steel and aluminium bar. Each head takes one GU10 bulb, not included. It suits a hallway, a kitchen or the space above a worktop, wherever two closely spaced light sources are useful.

Description

Black bar and two stubby cylinders

The two heads are attached to the ends of a rectangular base measuring 28 cm by 7 cm, each on a short stem. The plain black finish covers the whole light. The cylinders, wider than they are deep, keep the bulbs recessed.

Two GU10 lampholders

The bulbs must be bought separately: two GU10 bulbs, with a stated power of 35 W per bulb. GU10 LED bulbs are more than enough and run cool; if dimmable, they can be controlled with a dimmer. For a kitchen, a 4000 K colour temperature helps you see clearly; for a living room, 2700 K softens the lighting. IP20 rating: dry rooms only, never near a shower.

Ceiling installation

The heads hang 10.5 cm below the ceiling. In a hallway, position the bar along the line of movement; above a worktop, align it with the units. Allow for a junction box at the chosen location.
