Black bar and golden accents
A round black ceiling plate holds the horizontal bar to the ceiling. At each end, a short gold rod descends to the lampholder, also gold, enclosed in a smoked glass shade. The mild steel has a black finish for the bar and the base, and a satin brass finish for the parts close to the shades.
Two adjustable beams
The two E14 lampholders each accept a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The shades are adjustable, so you can light a worktop and a wall at the same time. The light works with a dimmer if both bulbs are dimmable. Behind the smoked glass, clear filament LEDs remain pleasing to look at. Class I with earth connection; IP20, not for use in damp areas.
Measurements and fitting advice
39 cm long, 17 cm wide, 15.5 cm high and weighing just 0.44 kg: the bar can be fitted without reinforcement on a standard ceiling. Above a counter or a narrow island, align the bar with the length of the worktop; in a bedroom, turn one spotlight towards each side of the bed.
