Description

An ivory baluster with gilded decoration

The turned base, made of resin and metal, is painted ivory and then hand-decorated with patinated gold leaf: palmettes on the swelling, fine lines on the rings and the foot. The flared lampshade is made of fine pleated cream fabric, mounted on a frame.

Soft bedside light

An E14 cap bulb, up to 40 W, sits beneath the pleats; it must be purchased separately. The translucent lampshade gives a subdued glow, enough for reading in bed. To keep the cream and gold tones, choose a 2700 K LED. IP20 lamp, for the bedroom, living room or study.

Compact size

With a lampshade 24 cm in diameter and a weight of 1.22 kg, it fits on a standard bedside table. A pair, on either side of a bed, recreates the layout of a grand townhouse bedroom.
