Alfiere chrome table lamp, sculpted base and tall lampshade, 68.5 cm

Turned volumes and smoked lampshade

The chrome metal base combines a bell-shaped foot, a disc and a spinning-top-shaped bulge, like a stylised chess piece. The very slender lampshade is made of chrome-finish PVC slats that are slightly translucent: you can make out the bulb through it, as if behind smoked glass.

Filtered light and reflections

When switched on, the lamp casts a soft light upwards and downwards, while the chrome picks up reflections from the room. It takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately; a decorative filament LED stays visible through the lampshade and is worth choosing for its look. IP20: dry indoor use.

Vertical silhouette

Despite its size, it weighs only 1.23 kg: place it on a stable piece of furniture, away from walkways. Its slim diameter makes it ideal for narrow consoles and sideboard corners.
