Aegean bedside lamp in polished brass and cut glass, pleated lampshade

Polished brass and cut glass

This model follows the structure of the range: a round base, curved arches forming an open oval, then a slim stem rising towards the lampshade. Here the steel has a polished brass finish, yellow and reflective, which catches the light in the room. Between the stem and the lampshade, a cut glass collar adds sparkle. The pleated fabric, in ivory, is stretched over a tapered frame.

For reading in bed or lighting a console

The lamp takes one E27 bulb up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. There is no dimming function. Through the fabric, the light stays soft at eye level, enough to read a few pages or to mark an entrance in the evening; a warm white E27 LED does the job. Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for a bedroom, living room or office, protected from moisture.

Dimensions and connection

Standing 58 cm high with a diameter of 36 cm, it needs a good-sized bedside table; its 3.6 kg gives it a solid base. For reading in bed, choose a table whose top is roughly level with the mattress. It is Class I and must be connected to an earthed socket.
