About this light

The large size in the Göteborg series, this blue and white ceramic table lamp stands 48 cm tall, with a lampshade 30.5 cm in diameter. Its rounded base, painted with birds and blue scrolls, adds character to a living room console, a sideboard or a bedroom chest of drawers. It takes an E27 bulb.

Description

Painted ceramic and pleated fabric

The wide, rounded base repeats the blue-on-white decoration of the small version on a larger scale: animals in a low frieze, floral cartouches and geometric bands on the shoulder. The white lampshade, with its tight pleats, flares out noticeably towards the bottom and balances the bulk of the base. The brass-coloured lampholder links the two.

Enough light for a living room corner

It takes an E27 cap bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. An 8 to 9 W warm white LED gives comfortable supplementary lighting for reading beside an armchair. Switch on the cable. Like all IP20 models, it is suitable for dry rooms only.

A heavy, stable object

The ceramic is weighty: 3.45 kg in total, which stops it from tipping over. Allow for a piece of furniture at least 40 cm deep so that the lampshade does not overhang. The transparent cable is 200 cm long.
