About this light

The Study is an LED desk lamp with an articulated arm, in the tradition of draughtsman's lamps: a rectangular black base, two silver arm segments and a flat head housing the LED. The dimmer lets you adjust the light depending on whether you are reading, writing or working at a screen. It suits large desks and drawing tables.

Description

An architect's lamp in an LED version

The base is a rectangular black block, from which a first silver arm extends, connected to the second by a black joint. A third joint carries the head: a slim, flat strip, black on top and silver underneath. The arm is made of metal, the head of plastic. The exposed hinges give the whole piece the look of a drawing table.

Integrated LED and dimmer

The light comes from an integrated 5 W LED, supplied with the lamp, with no bulb to change. Its intensity is adjusted by dimmer: brighter for re-reading a plan, lower for working at the end of the day. The strip lights an elongated band of the desk. Class 3: the lamp runs on extra-low voltage. IP20, dry rooms.

Allow some space around it

The Study is 90 cm high with a footprint of 45 cm: reserve a clear desk corner for it, with no shelf above. It weighs 2.5 kg. Its black cable is 180 cm long.
