About this light

The largest model in the series, this green and brass banker's lamp stands 42 cm tall: the classic height for a desk lamp. Its green glass shade sits above a baluster base in metal with an oxidised patina. It fits naturally on a wooden desk, a secretaire or a library table.

Description

Oxidised patina and tinted glass

The base is a stack of rings and mouldings in patinated metal, set on a wide round foot. A slightly curved stem rises to the lampshade, a green glass shell held by two button-shaped finials. The whole lamp is a straightforward nod to the lamps found in banks and libraries at the beginning of the last century.

E14 bulb required

The E14 bulb, 40 W maximum, is not included. A 4 to 5 W tube or flame LED stays invisible beneath the shell. The green glass lets only a coloured glow filter into the room and concentrates the light on the desk pad. Switch on cable. IP20 rating: study, living room, bedroom.

Weight and space

At 2.2 kg, the lamp does not move when you pull on the cable. Its 27 cm diameter calls for a desk at least 60 cm deep to leave room in front. The clear cable measures 200 cm.
