About this light

The Nicci black table lamp is made of black ceramic and combines a tapered, pleated base with a black conical lampshade. Light escapes only through the top and bottom of the lampshade, creating circles of light on the furniture and on the ceiling. It measures 41 cm and suits a graphic or industrial interior.

Description

Faceted black ceramic

The glossy black ceramic base is carved with regular pleats that catch the reflections. Its spindle shape widens towards the top before narrowing under the chrome lampholder. The lampshade, a truncated cone in black fabric, is lined in white on the inside to reflect the light.

Light directed by the opaque lampshade

The black fabric lets little light through: it escapes through the openings, towards the table and towards the ceiling. The result is more of a mood lamp than a reading lamp. It takes an E14 bulb of 40 W maximum, not included. Cable switch, IP20.

Dimensions

At 41 cm high and 19 cm in diameter, it sits comfortably on a standard bedside table. It weighs 0.79 kg. The white cable measures 150 cm: something to bear in mind on a dark wall.
