About this light

The Madame is a clear glass table lamp: a thick column with an irregular, ice-block texture, topped with a white velvet drum lampshade. The glass catches both the light of the room and that of the bulb. At 46.5 cm high, it suits a console table, a chest of drawers or a wide bedside table.

Description

A glass base with an ice-like texture

The base is a cylinder of clear glass, its surface worked with hollows and bumps like cut ice. You can see right through it, and it refracts the light into shifting reflections. A chrome ring joins it to the cylindrical white velvet lampshade, which is soft to the touch and matt.

E27 bulb not included

The E27 lampholder takes a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. Velvet filters light more than fabric does: it becomes soft, ideal for a living room in the evening. A warm white LED enhances the reflections in the glass. The switch is on the 200 cm white fabric cable. IP20.

Weight and proportions

The solid glass gives it a weight of 2.5 kg, for a stable footing on furniture. At 46.5 cm high and 24 cm in diameter, it needs a clear surface so that you can enjoy the transparency of the base.
