About this light

The Brooklyn is a 56 cm smoked glass table lamp that pairs a tall black metal column with a rounded globe that shows off the bulb. The tinted glass softens the glare of the light source and gives it an amber hue. It sits on a sideboard, console or bedside table in an interior with industrial accents.

Description

Black column and smoked glass

The base is a tall, smooth cylinder in matt black metal. It carries a large capsule-shaped smoked glass globe with rounded shoulders. Inside, the black lampholder and the bulb remain visible, making the bulb part of the decor.

The choice of bulb matters

It requires an E27 bulb of 60 W maximum, not included. An Edison-shaped filament LED, as in the photo, plays beautifully with the smoked glass. The light passes through the tinted glass and stays subdued: a mood lamp rather than a reading lamp. Switch on the black fabric cable. IP20.

Weight and height

56 cm high, 24.5 cm in diameter, 2.8 kg: the lamp is stable. The cable is 200 cm long. A shorter version is available in the same series.
