About this light

The Yale is a black desk lamp with a swing arm, inspired by pharmacy lamps: an upright rod, a hinged horizontal arm and a rectangular perforated metal lampshade. Standing 57 cm tall, it lights a desk, a writing bureau or a reading table by sitting right above the work surface.

Description

A hinged arm and a perforated lampshade

The round black base carries a straight rod. At the top, a horizontal arm articulated by a hinge extends to one side and holds a black metal lampshade of trapezoidal section, pierced with small holes. The manufacturer states that the light can be directed where you need it thanks to the rods.

E14 bulb, 12 W maximum

The permitted wattage is low: an E14 bulb of 12 W at most, not included, i.e. an LED. The perforations let small points of light filter out at the sides, while most of the light falls on the work surface. Switch on the black cable. IP20.

Dimensions

57 cm high with a 52 cm reach: allow some space at the side of the desk. The 20 cm base and the weight of 2.61 kg keep it stable. 200 cm cable.
