About this light

Black and brass articulated lamp from the Provence Element line, a compact task lamp. The glossy black metal of the base, the two arms and the cone contrasts with the polished brass joints, which catch the light. With a 21 cm footprint, it sits happily on a writing desk, a kitchen worktop or a child's desk.

Description

Task lighting, bulb of your choice

A single E27 lampholder, rated for a maximum of 60 W. No bulb is supplied with the lamp: choose a warm white E27 LED, opaque or filament style, which the cone hides when turned downwards. The lighting is fixed, with no dimming. Rated IP20, the lamp is for living areas and offices, away from water.

Glossy black metal and polished brass

The black finish covers the whole structure: round base with a raised rim, slim arms and conical lampshade. The polished brass is limited to the three joints and the collar of the base, creating a sharp, very graphic contrast. This Element model is the smaller version of the Provence lamps, inspired by French bistro lighting of the mid-20th century.

Size and weight

At 52.3 cm high, it fits under a low wall shelf. Its 2.52 kg of metal keep it in place when you extend the arm. Class I appliance, to be connected to an earthed socket. On a desk, place it in a back corner: the arm then brings the light back over the work surface.
