Provence bedside lamp in antique brass, 59 cm, conical lampshade

A straight stem in antique brass

Antique brass has a patinated golden tone, softer than polished brass. It dresses the round stepped base, the stem and the cone, beneath which the lampholder can be glimpsed. There are no arms or joints: the silhouette is vertical and compact. The Provence range is inspired by the French lamps that lit café tables in the mid-20th century.

A bedside light, directed downwards

The opaque metal lampshade directs the light onto the table and around the base, without lighting the ceiling. The lamp takes an E14 bulb; a 4 W bulb is supplied. The light is dimmable: with a dimmer, use an E14 bulb that is also dimmable. IP20: bedroom, living room, hallway.

Size and weight

It weighs 2.43 kg, a heavy base for a lamp of this size, so there is little risk of knocking it over with a movement at night. Plug-in connection to an earthed socket (Class I). On a bedside table, the lampshade should sit roughly at shoulder height when you are sitting up in bed.
