Description

An openwork cage base on an octagonal foot

The body of the Augustine lamp is made of curved steel bars forming an open urn. A cream studded band encircles it, and a ring with amber highlights leads to the lampholder. The whole stands on a stepped octagonal foot. The bell-shaped lampshade, in lined ivory textured linen, is topped with a small finial.

Light filtered through ivory linen

The lamp is designed for one 60 W E27 bulb, sold separately. The linen softens the light at the sides, while the open bottom of the lampshade lights the surface of the furniture more directly. Choose a 2700 K E27 LED bulb to stay in keeping with the ivory fabric. Accent light for a living room, or reading light beside an armchair.

Dimensions and placement

At 89.5 cm high and 50.8 cm in diameter, it needs a piece of furniture with a surface slightly deeper than the lampshade, and clearance above. Weighing 9.93 kg, it is stable; move it by holding the base. Class I appliance: plug it into an earthed socket.
