About this light

Table lamp with USB port in brushed steel: a slim strip of curved metal forms a frame that carries a white oval cotton lampshade. The cylindrical base houses a USB socket to charge a phone or tablet without an extension lead. At 62.2 cm high and with a narrow width, it fits easily on a desk or bedside table.

Description

A brushed steel frame

The stand is designed like a frame: two steel blades rise from a cylindrical bar laid flat, one arched, the other straighter, and meet at the top to hold the lampshade. The oval, rigid shade is made of white cotton. The brushed steel finish, a satin light grey, suits a desk in light wood, glass or lacquer.

Light and USB charging

Lighting is provided by an E27 lampholder, up to 60 W, bulb not included. The white cotton gives an even light across the work surface. The lamp can be used with a dimmer if the bulb is dimmable. The USB port in the base charges a mobile device at night by the bed or during the day at the desk. Class I.

Compact footprint

It measures 62.2 cm high, 21.9 cm wide and 35.6 cm deep, and weighs 2.88 kg. The oval lampshade stretches in one direction only: turn its long side towards you to light a keyboard or a book. On a narrow bedside table, it leaves room for an alarm clock.
