Etien chrome table lamp with baluster base and white lampshade

An urn-shaped base, polished like a mirror

Etien's base combines several turned shapes: a slim ring beneath the lampshade, a narrow neck, then an urn-shaped body that reflects the room. The circular plinth, accented by two grooves, keeps it stable. The white lampshade, tapered in shape, fully conceals the bulb; the manufacturer states metal, glass and fabric.

Soft, subdued light for the evening

The E27 lampholder accepts a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The brightness can be varied if you pair a dimmer with a dimmable bulb. For reading in bed, choose a 2700 K warm white LED: the light-coloured lampshade softens the light even further. Rated IP20, the lamp is intended for dry rooms such as the bedroom, living room or study.

Space needed on the bedside table

Etien measures 30 cm in width and 52.5 cm at its greatest height. It sits on an average-sized bedside table without overhanging, leaving room for a book in front of the base.
