About this light

The Ponte black table lamp with metal cage and beam recalls a building-site gantry: a black post set on a disc, a short natural wood beam at the top and a wire cage lampshade hanging from its end. At 55 cm high with a 20 cm by 18 cm base, it fits neatly on a desk or sideboard.

Description

A gantry and its lantern

The black metal post carries a horizontal piece of light wood with visible grain, fastened by two clamps. Beneath the free end, the black cage made of vertical wires flares out towards the bottom around the lampholder. The cable winds around the post before reaching the round base.

Bulb and light

E27 lampholder accepting up to 60 W per bulb, bulbs not included. The cage leaves the light source exposed: choose a decorative 2700 K filament bulb, which is less dazzling than a standard clear bulb. IP20, suitable only for dry indoor spaces.

On the desk

The base measures 20 cm by 18 cm. Position the cage side towards the work surface and the post set back, against the wall or at the edge of the furniture.
