A silver vase beneath a golden drum

The slightly tapered stem, in steel with an aged silver effect, widens towards the top like an amphora. At its summit, an ornament of golden foliage forms a collar; the circular base picks up the same gold tone. The very wide, cylindrical lampshade has a subtly shaded gold finish that echoes the ornaments on the base.

A golden light, E27 lampholder

The E27 lampholder takes up to 60 W, bulb not included. Light escapes through the top and bottom of the gold cylinder, giving it a honey tint: the lamp works as ambient lighting rather than a reading light. The brightness is not dimmable. To stay within this tone, choose a 2700 K LED. IP20 rating, dry rooms only.

At 45.7 cm in both directions, the lampshade needs a clear surface: allow for a deep tray or a spot at the end of a sideboard. Its weight of 6.34 kg gives it a stable footing. As a pair, on either side of a sofa or a bed, it creates a symmetrical arrangement.
