About this light

This 101.6 cm silver table lamp pairs a tall conical lampshade with a base decorated with silhouettes moulded from ancient stone fragments: a torso, a cross, a face. The aged, patinated silver finish suits classic interiors as well as more eclectic schemes. It looks right on a chest of drawers, a desk or a console table.

Description

Moulded silhouettes and silver leaf

The motifs on the base are moulded from ancient stone fragments. From top to bottom you can see a face, a cross and a torso, threaded onto a slim rod. The aged silver leaf also covers the conical lampshade, whose surface has fine ridges. The square, two-tier base rests on small feet.

Which light to choose

It works with an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. With its IP20 rating, it is intended for dry rooms only: living room, bedroom, study. For working at a desk, a neutral white LED is suitable; for the living room, opt for a warm white. Class I: a socket with an earth connection is required.

Size and stability

At 101.6 cm tall, 22.9 cm wide and weighing 2.6 kg, it is slim but tall. On a standard console table, the top of the lampshade rises above the eye level of a person standing: it is best kept for low furniture, chests of drawers and hallways with fairly high ceilings.
