Description

Silver bell and fleur-de-lis

The base is a smooth bell shape in silver-coloured metal, with a slightly aged sheen. It supports a sculpted gold-toned fleur-de-lis that links it to the lampshade. The black shade flares out a little towards the bottom and is decorated with gold splashes. A small gold finial crowns it.

Directed light

The lamp takes an E27 bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. With a black lampshade, the light is directed towards the tabletop and the ceiling rather than to the sides: it is accent lighting rather than room lighting. IP20 rating, for use in dry rooms. Class I: plug it into an earthed socket.

Size

61 cm high, 30.5 cm in diameter at the lampshade, 3.4 kg: it stays compact. A pair on either side of a bed or sofa works well. A visible filament bulb or a warm white LED goes nicely with the black and gold.
