An art glass dome with red roses

The hemispherical lampshade is assembled from pieces of glass in jewel tones, ruby, sapphire, amber, and softer shades. The red flowers stand out against a background of scrolling foliage, and the lower edge undulates slightly. Netlighting describes it as handmade. A finial crowns the top.

Two lampholders and a filtered light

Two E27 bulbs of 60 W maximum fit under the dome; they are not supplied. The tinted glass gives ambient light rather than reading light: choose warm white LED bulbs to keep the reds deep. IP20, so suitable for dry rooms in the home.

Bronze base and footprint

The slim stem, marked with a ring, flares into a round ribbed base, in steel and resin with a vintage bronze patina. The lamp is 40.6 cm wide, the width of the dome: allow for a surface at least as wide. At 5 kg, it won't topple at the first knock. A matching floor lamp is available in the range.
