Dennison table lamp with ribbed glass base and palladian bronze metal, 80 cm

Glass urn with palladian bronze metal

The clear glass body, worked in vertical ribs, takes the shape of a cup on a pedestal foot. A ring, a baluster and a two-tier square plinth in palladian bronze finish metal frame it at the top and bottom. This deep brown with coppery highlights contrasts with the transparency of the glass.

Fabric lampshade with double piping

The rigid fabric lampshade flares gently towards the bottom; Netlighting notes a double piping along its edges. It gives off a soft light through the fabric and, open at the top and bottom, lights both the tabletop and the ceiling. A matching metal finial holds it in place.

Bulb, dimensions and stability

One E27 lampholder up to 60 W, bulb to be purchased separately. IP20: dry living areas. At 43.2 cm wide and weighing 4.9 kg, the lamp needs a fairly deep piece of furniture; on a chest of drawers, centre it or pair two either side of a mirror.
