Art glass and tapered bronze-finish stem
The large pyramid shade is made up of pieces of tinted glass set in metal, arranged in rays around a central arrow-shaped motif. Its stepped border combines sapphire blue and deep green squares. The dark bronze-finish stem flares out to a square base and carries a raised linear motif in the Arts & Crafts spirit.
Accent lighting for the living room
Beneath the shade, two E27 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. We suggest two warm white LEDs: the light passing through the glass stays soft and takes on the colour of the glass pieces. With an IP20 rating, this lamp is for dry rooms only; bathrooms are not suitable.
A heavy base for a glass shade
At 63.5 cm high and 40.6 cm wide, it needs a fairly deep piece of furniture: leave a little space between the shade and the wall rather than pushing it flat against the partition. Its 5.67 kg make it stable, a welcome point with a glass shade. The Inglenook range also includes a matching floor lamp.
