Glass arabesques and a drop-shaped base

The flared conical lampshade is made of pieces of glass cut into interlacing arabesques, in cream and gold, dotted with blue cabochons. A crown-shaped finial tops it off. The base, swollen like a bulb and divided into ribs, has a very dark imperial bronze patina, almost black, on a round foot. The whole is made of steel, resin and glass.

Two 60 W E27 lampholders

Beneath the lampshade, two E27 lampholders each take a bulb of up to 60 W, to be purchased separately. The tinted glass filters the light and gives it amber highlights: think of this lamp as accent lighting rather than a reading lamp. The brightness cannot be adjusted. IP20: living room, bedroom or hallway, away from damp rooms.

A compact size

The lamp measures 49.5 cm high, 41 cm wide and 40.6 cm deep, and weighs 3.78 kg. The lampshade takes up most of this footprint: allow for a surface at least as wide as the lampshade so that it does not overhang into the walkway.
