About this light

Tapered polished nickel base and pearl-coloured linen drum lampshade: the Brooklyn table lamp is all about clean lines and a mirror-polished metal. At 73.7 cm high, it suits a console table, desk or bedroom chest of drawers, where the reflection of the nickel echoes chrome handles, stainless steel or glass.

Description

Trumpet-shaped stem and glossy nickel

The cast zinc base has a highly reflective polished nickel finish. The stem flares upwards like a trumpet and ends in a disc collar beneath the lampholder; at the bottom, it rests on a round double-stepped base. The pearl linen drum lampshade, with its crisp edges, is topped by a small finial.

Light filtered through linen

An E27 lampholder, for a bulb of up to 60 W, sold separately. The pale linen gives a soft, subdued light all around the lampshade, with no bright spot. Choose an LED with good colour rendering if the lamp lights a desk. The light output cannot be dimmed. IP20: dry rooms only.

Size and connection

It measures 73.7 cm high by 38.1 cm wide and weighs 4.68 kg, a weight that keeps it stable on a smooth surface. Class I appliance, to be connected to an earthed socket.
