About this light

A large-format version of the architect's lamp, this antique brass floor lamp rises to 170 cm on two articulated arms held by springs. The 30 cm conical lampshade, white on the inside, sits above a desk, a drawing table or an armchair. Although it is styled as a desk lamp, it stands on the floor.

Description

Spring-loaded arms and antique brass finish

A round base topped with a cone holds the first arm. The two arms, made of thin parallel steel strips joined by bolts, are tensioned by pairs of springs. Tightening knobs are located at the joints. The mild steel lampshade is antique brass on the outside and white on the inside.

Light carried far from the base

Once extended, it carries the lampshade up to 108 cm forward: the base stays beside the desk and the light falls in the middle of the work surface. E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, bulb not included. IP20 and Class II: dry indoor use, unearthed plug.

Space to allow for

With a height of 170 cm and a reach of 108 cm, allow sufficient clearance around the base. It suits a corner desk, a workshop or a reading corner, where it replaces a table lamp and frees up the work surface.
