Gatsby Art Deco Tiffany Table Lamp with Chevron Shade, Cast Brass Base 53 cm

Gatsby Art Deco Tiffany Table Lamp with Chevron Shade, Cast Brass Base 53 cm

A variation on the Gatsby lamp with a cast brass base: the antique bronze-patinated stem is sculpted with twists and foliage motifs above an ornate round base. The lampshade keeps its cream glass with green, purple and gold chevrons. Standing 53 cm high, it has two E27 lampholders and suits a console table, a pedestal table or a desk.

Description

Worked brass and Tiffany glass

Heavier in appearance than the resin version, the cast brass base stacks a collar, a twisted stem with a plant motif and a moulded circular base. The conical lampshade is the same: cream glass set in lead and brass, with dark triangles arranged in chevrons all the way round.

Bulbs and dimming

You will need two E27 bulbs, each of 60 W maximum, to be bought separately. Connected to a dimmer with dimmable bulbs, it adapts from dinner to a late evening. Class II, for indoor dry use (IP20).

Dimensions

53 cm high with a 39.5 cm lampshade diameter. Slightly shorter than the resin model, it is better suited to placing under a shelf or ledge.
