About this light

The Chiling table lamp pairs a large glossy black ceramic temple jar with an ivory cotton empire lampshade in box pleats, edged with black and gold trim. A fine gold band highlights the lid. Standing 80 cm tall and weighing 6.31 kg, it makes a statement on a sideboard, hall console or chest of drawers.

Description

Deep black and ivory cotton

The curved ceramic jar has a domed lid highlighted by a gold band. The black glaze is smooth and reflective. A dark wood base lifts it. The tall, flared empire lampshade is made of pure ivory cotton, with box pleats and a black and gold braid at the top and bottom.

Light

E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, bulb to be purchased separately. The ivory cotton diffuses a warm, even light. Class I.

Size

80 cm high, with a lampshade 51 cm in diameter: the lamp needs a wide piece of furniture and plenty of ceiling clearance. The base is also available on its own.
