About this light

This Dalian celadon ceramic lamp base takes the silhouette of a Chinese baluster vase: flared neck, rounded shoulders, narrow foot. The pale green glaze is ribbed with fine vertical lines. It stands on a black wooden base. Sold without a lampshade, it is 55 cm high and pairs well with a light pleated lampshade.

Description

The celadon green of antique vases

The ceramic vase is covered in a slightly translucent, water-green celadon glaze over a background of fine vertical ribs that follow its curve. The corolla-shaped neck holds the gold-coloured lampholder. The carved black wooden base anchors the piece.

To complete

E27 lampholder, 60 W maximum, bulb not included. This base is sold on its own: an ivory pleated empire lampshade, like the one on the complete version, suits it well. Class I.

Dimensions

55 cm high, 23 cm in diameter. Once fitted with a lampshade, the lamp suits a sideboard or a console table.
