This chrome crystal table lamp has a rounded lampshade made of rows of cut glass beads gathered tightly around a chrome frame. It tops a slim stem set on a round base. At 45.5 cm high and 26 cm in diameter, it suits an entrance console, a sideboard or a reasonably wide bedside table, where the glass casts reflections around it.

Description

A drum of glass beads on a chrome stem

The lampshade forms a domed cylinder with rounded edges, made of columns of faceted crystal glass beads held by chrome uprights. The stem, the flat base and the frame are made of chrome-plated mild steel. When lit, the central bulb is diffracted by the facets and casts small sparkles onto the wall.

A G9 bulb to be provided

The lamp takes a single bulb with a G9 cap, 33 W maximum, to be bought separately. A warm white (2700 K) G9 LED capsule limits the heat near the glass. It is switched on by a switch on the cable, with no brightness adjustment. IP20 rating: for dry rooms only.

Footprint and stability

The whole lamp fits within a circle 26 cm in diameter, the size of the lampshade. It weighs 3.8 kg, enough to stay stable despite the glass being concentrated at the top. On a bedside table, check that the top is wider than these 26 cm so that a little free space is left beside it.
